West Bloomfield is a scenic, rather large medium-sized town in eastern Michigan. Known as the idyllic suburb of Oakland County, West Bloomfield is surrounded by some of the most beautiful lakes in Michigan. Due to the 25 lakes in and around the area, many refer to the city as the “Lake Township of Oakland County.” Of the 27.3 square miles that West Bloomfield occupies, 3.9 square miles (about 12.49 percent) is made up of water.
